Veteran Walkthrough & Strategies

Sithera

Level:

HP:

Strategy:

  • Sithera is little more than a tedious fight that uses the mechanics down there. The basic idea is simple, bring her to the light and do as much damage as possible. She takes significantly less damage outside of the light, so don't leave her out there too long. Eventually the light will go off and you'll need to head elsewhere to continue the fight. During this she will do a high damage AoE and summon adds. Just use AoEs and common sense to get through it.

Votary of Velidreth

Level:

HP:

Strategy:

  • Unlike the previous bosses, Votary is only a boss in terms of life and size. In terms of mechanics, he is a joke. The basic fight is a giant spider that uses a lot of poison and has little spiders that slow you down. The only thing you need to do is maintain range, because his AoE will pretty much one shot anyone and stop him from regenerating health. He gains roughly 10 percent health a tick, so failing to do this for two or three seconds will put you back on square one.

Khephidaen the Spiderkith

Level:

HP:

Strategy:

  • Khephidaen isn't hard, though don't be surprised if you get wipe out multiple times against her. The basic fight is simple. You bring her to the light, she will do a couple of attacks that will probably one hit anyone besides a tank and then teleport. From there she commonly does a move where she gets a swirly animation that you have to either interrupt or block. Failing to do either will probably result in your death. She will cycle from doing that move, her one hit, another move that puts out the flames and then close with the interrupt move again.
  • Once she puts out a flame you need to ignite it as quickly as possible or get ready to fight more adds. The fight will continue to get progressively harder, like she will put out two flames and then three flames at a time, until you finally defeat her.

Dranos Velandor

Level:

HP:

Strategy:

  • This fight might not be the hardest, but it is probably the second most mechanic driven fight in the dungeon. All you need to do is damage the boss and avoid the AoE that the statue in the middle shoots. After a while Dranos will teleport around dropping AoEs, which is your cue he is going to grab someone. The person he picks will be the last person attacked and when he picks you everyone needs to run over and shield bash the adds. This will instantly kill them and the person affected can get up. Once you get up make sure to block or you'll probably die to the DoT.
  • After specific points he will summons adds and become immune to damage. Kill the adds, step in the AoE thing and that will make him damageable again. Rinse and repeat until you win.

Velidreth

Level:

HP:

Strategy:

  • Start by attacking the boss, avoiding the balls on the floor and attempting to hit the adds with AoEs. The balls will give you a debuff that removes you stamina, magicka or health based off its color. Avoid them at all cost. The boss will also eat your ultimate, so only save it if you can't gain anything from using it right then and there. After a while two flesh atronachs will spawn and they're your number one priority. Killing them will drop a synergy, which two people need to grab as quickly as possible. This will continue until you either get the boss to 66 percent health or they go up above.
  • At 66 and 33 percent Yelidreth will banish you to a different area. One person with the light will be sent to each side with another player. The main idea is to run through the maze, light a couple of the brazers to opendoors and make your way back to the boss. You can see the maze by opening your map. In there you'll be attacked by various enemies and get a debuff if you're out of the light. Make sure to move with your partner to the exit and avoid the red spike traps as they will damage you.
  • Once you're outside you'll probably have to deal with the going above mechanic. Once you get the notification or see the boss doing it, stop moving and wait until the screen changes color and your controller starts to shake. At this point you should be able to dodge roll and make it out alive, though if you're messing up the timing the healer can use their ultimate or you can hope you have enough defense/life to survive the hit. Rinse and repeat until the boss is dead.
