The Imperial City is the central city and capital of Cyrodiil and all of Tamriel. It cannot yet be accessed within the game, as the bridges are all blocked with impenetrable force fields, and attempting to swim across will only result in your quick demise due to the infestation of slaughterfish.However, the city will be added in the Imperial City DLC update, at which point, access will be available through the Imperial Sewers. An Alliance must control their six home keeps to be able to enter the city.
